I was able to return to my mom's hometown after about four years. Their house is right in front of the municipal hall. As a child I often visited this place with my family and I usually stayed at home or visited the nearby town of Daet, which was more 'industrialized' (for lack of a better term). Last December, I got to explore the places my mom frequented when she was young.
