A question I often get that can be confusing is how does remote viewing differ from remote presence? In remote viewing you are searching for that general mass of detailed picture of the person or object. Remote presence allows you to sense the presence of a person or animal and their location. Once you have done this you can figure out how far away there are from you.

Remote presence is very much like ultrasound. Certain animals, like dolphins, use ultrasound to locate things. They send out clicks of sound that go out into ocean. The waves hit something and bounce back to the dolphin giving it a picture. The first thing you will need to do is normal gathering psi. Now pick a person or animal that you don't know the exact location of. Picture them in your head and thing about the feeling you get when you're around them. I do not mean empathy. I mean you may get excited when you see them or maybe bummed out. Now with your gathered psi I want you to send psi to that person. What you are doing is creating a link.

Unless the person (or animal) is a psionic or has an unconscious connection to psi they aren't going to feel this link. A psionic will, depending on their level and strength of the link. To me when someone links to me it feels like psi is suddenly around me, but at a distance. Others have said that it feels like the senders are all around them. You can also return the link by sending energy back to the sender. While linking you can communicate by telepathy or empathy.

Linking can be a scary experience. I hated it for months because I thought it would leave my head open to all to read my mind. I later relaxed and discovered ways of defending parts of my mind that I didn’t want people to pry into. Because my rules state that there is no discussion about attacking or defense of psi you’ll have to catch me online to find out. If you can find someone that you completely trust and can do this have them slowly build up a link to you so you can become comfortable with the feeling.
