Healing > Healing an open wound
Healing can be used for many things. I find it best sometimes for an open wound. However, it is best to stop the bleeding before you try this for the simple matter that if it's still bleeding it will be harder to close and you will use more energy then needed. You may also want to meditate or enter a trance before even starting, if it helps you. When you are ready, close your eyes, place your hand so it is cupping the wound (never put your hand directly on the wound. It might cause more trouble), and concentrate on yourself and your energy. Tap into psi and then think about your own energy going to the wound and closing it. Do it slow because if you do it too fast it will hurt. After this happens, your hand should feel warm and it might twitch a bit - that’s normal. After a bit, remove your hand on your own. The wound might be slightly closed or totally. Don't worry if it’s not totally healed: it takes a lot of effort and energy to heal wounds. Now, after you are done, you may start to feel tired, dizzy, or you may feel you can’t move. Relax, you will be able to move soon enough; just let your body come out of the state it was in. Another side effect is that you may feel a bit sick, and there is a chance you may feel cold. This cold is due to the amount of energy you were using to push around and into the wound. Cover up in a blanket and in a bit you should be fine. Don’t try to move too fast after healing. Its best to not try moving at all. If you do it will become worse and you can make yourself feel sicker and there is a strong chance you could or very well WILL pass out.
