Energy Manipulation > Programming constructs
Welcome again! This is my third article. This time, I will write about how to proceed after mastering psiballs. As said before, they are the base for a lot of abilities, but the one that's most similar is this. Come with me, and enter the world of psi constructs.
Psi constructs are similar to a psiball. However, they are actually a lot wider and comprehend a lot of things. In fact, a construct is just a mass of psi that does whatever you want it to. For example, you can make a construct that resembles a green cube, stays alive for two hours, and, if it crashes into someone, it will attract their attention. Another example could be a very dense mass of psi that is programmed to produce light. The things you can do with them are only limited by two things: one, the most important, is your imagination; and the second are your abilities. While the first one is pretty apparent, the second one might actually bring you some problems. You can't make a construct push or pull objects if you can't do macro-PK. You can't attract someone else's attention with a construct if you can't do it yourself. You can't make a construct that keeps an eye and senses if someone passes near it if you can't do Remote Viewing. But don't be discouraged. There are a lot of things you can still do with them, even if you can't use any ability.
In the previous section, I roughly tried to not mention this word, but I couldn't help it and I probably missed it once or twice. Programming a construct means making it do what you want it to do; making it be what you want it to be; making it seem what you want it to seem, etc. By programming, you can make a psiball bounce around, or stay alive for some hours before dissipating. In order to program a construct, there are several techniques. Some might work with you, some might not work with you. Or you might want to create your own, since there is nothing written on stone in any psionic ability. I am going to give a few of those techniques now, but feel free to try whatever is more natural for you.
Visual Programming is probably the simpliest technique and the one that requires less explanation. First of all, though, and before starting, have the objectives you want clear in your mind. Know what do you want to do with a construct before you even start making it. This is true for all methods, so remember to do it. Next, visualize the psi. If you tend to visualize images to do psiballs, this technique is more likely to work with you. Now, let's say you want to make a hot cube that stays alive until you touch your shoulder twice quickly. The cube is supposed to be hot, so visualize hot psi. Fire can also do the trick. Visualize it moving and coming out of your hands, and forming a cube between your hands as if it was a psiball. To implement the last part of the programming, you can imagine it dissipating when you touch your shoulder twice (all in your visualization) but without making it dissipate. It can be a little tricky, but keep trying (or try another method to program that)
This is just a small variation of the above. If you don't happen to like visualizing images very much, you can actually try to imagine feelings in your skin. For example, you can try to feel the heat for the same hot psiball. You can try to touch the sides and the vertexes of the cube to give it that shape. Instead of visualizing you touching your shoulder, imagine the feeling you would have if you had touched your shoulder. Or you can also try hearing everything. The idea is to not use images, but use anything else you can have from any other sense, like, for example, smelling the fire. And you can combine several of those to make it more apparent.
This method is totally different from the past two and will be harder for most things. Since you need to be able to compress a lot of things in a single thought or feeling, I suggest trying to do so with other things, for example, with people. Getting a psi-sig isn't bad training, but is outside the scope of this article. Let's take the same example as before. Imagine a cube of psi, that is hot and that will decay when you touch your shoulder twice. Go and revise all of the items. Now, try to think about them all at once. Try to get a single thought or feeling from everything. Some people have more trouble than others doing this - try going for simplier things first, and then starting to add more things to a construct. In any case, if you could get the feeling that concentrates everything related to the programming of the construct, all you have to do is to apply that feeling to the psi you are going to use, and to move, and shape it with that feeling. Since everything is inside a single thought, you don't have to think of many things at once, but only on that. And since it's also a feeling, it might be possible to emprint it to the psi. Another advantage this type of programming has is that you can put things like "dissipate when I touch my shoulder twice" with less trouble and with more chances of working, since it's in the thought - you don't need to visualize or imagine anything. However, as you probably guessed, all this can take quite a bit of time to be fully learnt. If you don't visualize at all while practicing psiballs, and you don't have trouble getting a feeling out of many thoughts, try this.
All right, so we know how to program and we did a silly try on a silly something, but we have no idea on how to continue. We don't know what to do with a construct. The keyword, as you probably guessed, is "imagination". A construct is not necessarily something with a shape - don't restrict yourself to those limits. To practice, you do not need to make a construct. For example, you can simply move psi along your body, making it colder, putting it colors. You can try to make it as if it was "water elemental" in a way like magical energy, and make bubbles out of it and make them crash. You could enclose yourself on a bubble. If you like wind instead, you could fill yourself with air psi - or even try to generate wind currents. And so on. You can also try doing things like drowsy psi and blowing it all off on your head, and see if you get sleepy. You can practice with a friend, and see if he/she can feel your psi or vice versa. The idea is not to get bored of constructs and programming psi, because it has lots of uses. Once you have learned some other abilities, you can program constructs using those abilities. Try not to stop practicing this. Myself, I try to practice every night, when my psi reserves are plentiful, which is when I sleep well, eat well, and don't do wacky psi things before. But again, don't overrun yourself. With this, I conclude my article. I hope you have enjoyed it, and I hope it was of use :) Good luck with your psionic abilities. Maticolotto |
