Prophecy's colorful cast of characters

Juno Crescent

A humble nineteen-year-old peasant from the backwater hamlet of Stonemill, Juno's soft eyes and messy brown hair do little to set him apart from the average farmer. However, once fate and prophecy rip him from his mundane life and hurl him into a timeless adventure, Juno's bold, heroic nature begins to shine through.

Juno
Brigit Cybelle

When Bri lost both her parents at a young age, she was taken in as a beloved daughter in the Crescent family. At a meager eighteen years old, she performs all the matronly duties of the household, and maintains a faithful and friendly attitude despite the enormous amount of responsibility piled atop her slender shoulders.

Bri
Jack Crescent

Juno's older brother Jack has always offered a shining example of friendship, loyalty, and fortitude for the younger Crescent to look up to. His dark eyes burn with the fiery passion of a born warrior. Jack founded the hardy Black Rose resistance to protect his fellow peasants from the crushing taxes and tyranny of Lord Daradrik.

Jack
Motley Cybelle

Bri's brother and Juno's mischievous best friend, Motley provides the oppressed population of Stonemill with a bit of much-needed lightheartedness. His spiky green hair and broad smile set him apart from the majority of his fellow villagers, and he stubbornly remains a source of jokes and playful banter throughout the most dire situations.

Motley
Klotho the Bard

Klotho is a friendly minstrel from the Rhylorean mainland who harbors more wisdom than he regularly lets on. Often referred to simply as “Bard”, he maintains an eloquent dialect and a mysterious aura that suggests an almost ethereal nature, and his one pale blue eye appears to gaze beyond the boundaries of normal sight.

Klotho
Barabbas

The "heretical" halfbreed son of a Rhyle woman and a ferocious mountain demon, Barabbas maintains a rough exterior to repel the heaps of prejudice thrown his way. He considers the quest for redemption and self-worth a pointless undertaking, instead opting to spend most of his waking life in a drunken haze.

Barabbas
Aaralyn Harper

As the young daughter of the local candle-maker, Aaralyn has led a sheltered life in the small town of Stonemill, where her biggest worry is her innocent crush on Motley. She is usually good-natured and friendly, but once tensions begin to escalate, Aaralyn surprises everyone by displaying fixed determination and formidable fighting skill.

Aaralyn
Captain Rinke

Lord Daradrik's right-hand man has a cold demeanor and a nasty superiority complex that sees him enjoy bullying peasants and carrying out his lord's tyrannical will. Captain Rinke views the Black Rose resistance as a pesky thorn in his side, and would like nothing better than to have every last one of the rebels hanged for high treason.

Rinke
Howl the Drune

A mysterious member of the terrifying Drune race, Howl takes sadistic pride in being the most ruthless bounty hunter gold can buy. The Drune soon becomes Lord Daradrik's personal bloodhound, which, considering Howl's heartless nature and deadly bag of tricks, does not bode well for anyone opposing the spiteful tyrant.

Howl
Gregory Crescent

The stern father of Juno and Jack, Gregory is a middle-aged farmer who quietly obeys the injust authority of Stonemill Castle. He took on the massive responsibility of caring for Motley and Bri after the deaths of their parents, and while he often comes down hard on the entire makeshift family, their health and safety means the world to him.
