Kiraboshi is a website dedicated to the anime and manga series 'Cardcaptor Sakura', by the all-female group known collectively as CLAMP. Cardcaptor Sakura is about a young girl, Kinomoto Sakura, who must capture the escaped spirits of the Clow Cards, returning them to their proper form before they cause chaos to erupt around the world - for a better summary, please look here.
This site is sorely run by Tanuki, a fourteen-year-old female student who needs a better life than obsessing over anime. XD If you want to get a hold of me, feel free to email me - or otherwise contact me - via the methods on the contact page. Or, if you're really bored, check out my blog.
The site's title in in Japanese, and roughly translates to 'Glittering Star'. I chose the name because of three things. I wanted the title to have something to do with stars, to honour Sakura's special type of magic - the rare Star magic, instead of Sun or Moon magic. I also wanted to express her bouyant nature; after all, Sakura introduces herself as "a particularly genki person". I also didn't want it to be a common title, something that would have already been taken. I think the title fits all three prerequesites fairly well.. ^_^
This site was brought into action because the Webmistress was forced to make a website for her computers class at school. :P Even though I'd been considering the creation of a CCS fansite for a while now. Blame Mr. Mannweiler and Mr. Spargo at Merewether High for making me do this! Still, at least it got me into doing something..
Updates come whenever there is anything to add - this could be daily, to monthly, or longer. It all depends on the information and data coming in. Thus, if you want more updates, just submit something.. that'll force me into finding other stuff to make the update worthwhile. ;)
