- fisheggs - using Reynolds Lopi, in a light taupe, "and then I'm adding in salmon and periwinkle. I figure, if you can't do strange colors in a bag, when can you?"
-Lori (and her knitting group) in Honolulu - using a heavy weight Reynolds Candide and a size 10 1/2 needleshe's practically doubled the stitches to make a bigger badder bag! botanicallyhippy- My MC is a dark brown and unbleached twist (looks like a tweed) and I hope to use two other colors for 3 large horizontal stripes about halfway up the sides... one dark dark brown and one brick red.

- The Manos multicolor virtually leapt into my hands, a blend of mossy greens and blushy reds and oranges in brightish earthtones - YUM! It wasn't long before 2 skeins of Lamb's Pride Spice completed the ensemble.

Betsy (www.livejournal.com~funkyfatgirl) , who started very late, is using Lilly Sugar and Cream cotton string in Jewels, doubled, along with a great dark purple croch-sheen thread, and #10 needles. I will NOT be felting, after the Felting Incident of 2004. Maybe I'll make a second one in Lambs Pride Bulky, because it's my yarn infatuation at the moment.

Earlyanna -used a 17 year old Irish worsted wool from her stash in a deep burgundy for the mc

Wendy - I used a mystery wool I picked up from my LOYM, flat bottom to dpns lovely charcoal grey to purple.

Michelle - is working on a kool-aid dyed fmb, looking foward to seeing the photos!!
Beth - used a mystery yarn - got it at a mill outlet and it wasn't well labeled except to say that it was 100% wool.
Yatsuhashi -  used Lamb's Pride worsted in Deep Charcoal, with Charcoal Heather, Grey Heather and Aubergine for the random stripes.
Naomi - used Peruvian Collection yarns, Highland Wool in grey heather (bottom), nutmeg heather (stripe & handles) and Uros in sand.
Amanda - is using Araucania nature wool in teal green.
Sarah (Stitchoramamama) - Manos del Uruguay in Citric. Embroidered and lined. Must see!
Beth S. @ She Loves To Knit- used fuschia Lamb's Pride worsted (#28), and Kureyon in coordinating colors (magenta, yellow, spring green... I think it may be #95.)

Saralyn - is using Kureyon 124 blues and pinks and doing the top and handles with donegal tweed in blue (color 815). Photos soon!
