Stefan Rowland

Stefan Rowland is the Head Instructor at Dragons Academy and has been involved in Training and Teaching Martial Arts since 1986 and has been extensively featured in National Martial Arts Publications such as "Fighters" and "Combat" as well as in the local paper and radio. Stefan is a full time, fully registered and qualified Instructor and holds Black belt in kickboxing, tae-kwon do and Brithai. He is also studying Ninjutsu and holds the position of "Competition Teams Executive" for the uk for the British National Martial Arts Associations and has been awarded the coverted "BNMA Hons" Award for the services to Martial Arts.

Cathy Marriott

Cathy Marriott is one of the Academy's Assistant Instructors and has been training for a number of years in kickboxing and has also holds grades in Brithai.
Cathy is a fully insured and registered Assistant Instructor and helps with the coaching of all grades from white belt to purple belt and is the first student to complete and pass the rigourous in house coaching programme of Dragons Academy and has also featured in "Fighters magazine"

Paul Stevenson

Paul Stevenson is one of the Academy's Black belt Assistant Instructors and has been training in kickboxing for Five years. He is a Registered and Insured Assitant Instructor at the Academy and specialises in Pad work and Sparring techniques and is also on the in house coaching programme.

Dragons Academy prides itself on the qualitaly of its Instruction and Teaching methods and so for the students with the ambition of becoming an Instructor themselves. Dragons Academy operates an in house coaching plan.

Ian Lowe

Ian Lowe is one of the Academy coaches and helps out with students from novice to Intermediate grade and is also a key member of the "Competition Team" of the Academy.

Child Protection

Dragons Academy operates and Implements a Child Protection policy and proceedure and currently has three qualified child protection officers. These are: Mr Stefan Rowland, Mrs Cate Buxton and Mrs Cathy Marriott.

Dragons Academy firmly beleives in the safety and well being of children and enforces all aspects of child protection which includes Teaching the Children about "Stranger Danger", "Awareness" and "Anti-Bullying".
