GABE.U.PAK.64 #4 of 10

The power inverter.

The power inverter. This is what makes the whole thing work, changing the 12V DC current of the battery packs into 110V AC current to run the Commodore. Though small, this inverter will take a constant draw of power at 140 watts with a five minute surge draw of 175 watts. The cool thing about inverters is that they only use the power that is needed. For example, if you use the GABE.U.PAK.64 V1 for a laptop computer that only pulls 40 watts of constant power, then that's all the inverter will demand from the battery is 40 watts of power. If you add something else to that pull like another laptop that demands the same amount of energy, then your total pull is 80 watts, which is still way below the 140 constant wattage that this inverter can use. But remember, the more energy you demand from the GABE.U.PAK.64, the shorter the life expectancy becomes for that charge cycle.
