Spring rain, strong winds, storms, and tornadoes - AH it's the start of a normal spring season in KC. It was just a couple of weeks ago that I looked out of my window and saw the green buds on the trees and it seemed like the next day there were leaves on the trees. Spring - a time of renewal.
I would like to thank you all for your prayers and card. It was an eight-hour operation to remove the cancer in my mouth. The doctor said that they got it all so there will be no radiation or chemo - which is a great relief. It is hard for me to talk because of the swelling in my face. In time that should go away and with some speech therapy my talking should improve. I have been home since April 1st and am getting better each day, I just wish that it didn't take so long. Thanks again for your well wishes.
Leslie Lacy has informed me that Fuzzy Brooks has joined the club, GREAT! Glad to have you aboard. We hope there are enough things to keep your interest up. We also wish to thank Bethyl Bundridge for her renewal this month. Thanks all for your continuing support of the CUGKC.
I still have 64s and 128s with 1541 and 1571 drives. I also have monitors and printers just sitting in my basement doing nothing. For a small price they can be in your home doing something! Call or see me at the next meeting. My phone # is 816-761-4777 and I am home most days after 4 PM.

Fuzzy Brooks has officially joined the club -- thanks!
Tom Moloney mentioned one of his favorite Commodore news websites: http://www.wire.c64.org.
The Lacys brought a "Get Well, Jack" card for everyone to sign.
