The Commodore Users Group
of
Kansas City

The Commodore Users Group of Kansas City was formed in 1980 to promote computing and education for users of Commodore 8-bit personal computers, such as the Commodore Pet, VIC-20, 64, and 128.  We currently support the Commodore 64 and 128 computers.

For a brief rundown of what you will find at this site, read on.  For more information about a given topic, please follow its link.

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are usually held the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm at one of the metro-KC public libraries.  If you use a Commodore computer, we would like to have you join us at a meeting as our guest.  For specific dates and locations of meetings, please click on the link above.

Monthly Newsletter

The world-famous Ryte Bytes newsletter is emailed to CUGKC members around the 1st of each month.  Shortly thereafter, the Webmaster publishes each issue of the newsletter on this website.

Member Benefits

CUGKC members receive many benefits, such as access to the club's extensive software library, free stuff throughout the year, etc.

Member Classifieds

Another benefit of CUGKC membership: your Commodore-related classified ad will be published on this site free of charge.  Members, please email your ad copy to cugkc@cugkc.cjb.net.

CUGKC Forum

CUGKC members and guests have access to an online message board via this website.  Please join the discussion!  This forum is public so anyone can participate, so feel free to tell your friends.

CUGKC By-Laws

Every club worth its salt has by-laws (although they are about as much fun to read as any other legal document -- no fun at all, that is!)  Nevertheless, if you want to know the rules by which CUGKC operates, then you will find them here.
